Per tradition, we will be holding a Live Auction during the Feast: the Table Auction. Each table collectively bids on the item offered, which could be something to share (like a dessert), or something for each individual at the table (like embroidered napkins).
To that end, we are seeking artisans that would be able to make either something for 8 people to share, or 8 individual items. These items can be however small you want, or however grand. However, even a contribution that brings $5 in is $5 more than we would have without – and the auction itself is a lot of fun for everyone!
This year’s funds raised will go to Care Package Inbound, a charity that compiles backpacks for foster children in the Kansas City area. Their backpacks are filled with gender and size-appropriate basic needs that many foster children sometimes have to do without, at some point in their young lives. It isn’t school supplies; it is clothes and feminine hygiene products and toothpaste!
